Admission Process and Guidelines


  • Admission of the candidate will be done only on the recommendation of the Admission Committee constituted by the Principal.
  • 2. Admission will be done strictly on the basis of merit.
  • 3. For admission, it is mandatory for the student to appear personally before the admission committee.
  • 4. At the time of admission interview, it will be mandatory for the candidate to appear with the original copies of all his/her certificates/mark sheets.
  • 5. A student will not be given admission for any one subject.
  • 6. After recommendation of admission, the admission fee must be deposited by the prescribed date otherwise the admission will be considered cancelled.
  • 7. Candidate guilty of using unfair means (U.F.M.) will not be eligible for admission.
  • 8. Candidates who have been convicted in any criminal case or are facing prosecution or whose conduct is suspicious will not be given admission.
  • 9. If any information regarding admission is found to be false, the admission will be cancelled. 10. Information related to all the activities of the college will be displayed on the notice board.
  • 10. The right to admit or reject any candidate shall be reserved with the Chairman of the Admission Committee and only the subject allotted by the Admission Committee will be valid.
  • 11. The decision of the Admission Committee regarding preparation of merit list and admission will be final.
  • 12. For admission in BA first year, minimum 40% marks in Intermediate will be mandatory.
  • 13. It will be mandatory to pass the environmental studies examination at the graduate level.

Admission Process


Candidates can obtain the admission form by paying the prescribed fee of Rs. 100 at the office counter. All candidates should study the brochure thoroughly before filling the application form and fill the application form accordingly. Admission of students in the college will be done as per their acquired qualification/standard set by Uttar Pradesh Government and University. The decision of the admission committee constituted for admission will be final. Students should select subjects as per their own ability and the number of seats available. Only application forms filled in completely and with the required certificates attached will be accepted, incomplete application forms will not be accepted.


Appearance


Students will attend classes regularly and study. As per the instructions of the university, if the attendance is less than 75%, then they will not be allowed to appear in the examination and the total number of teaching working days will be at least 180 days. In case of less attendance, permission to appear in the examination will not be given as per the university rules.

Admission Fee Refund Policy


The University Grants Commission receives many representations/complaints from students/parents on the non-refund of fees by the Higher Education institutions (HEls) on cancellation/withdrawal of admissions.

  • 1. Students should be allowed a full refund of fees within a specified period to enable them to opt for a course of their choice.
  • 2. The Commission has considered the matter in meeting held on May 2024, and after considering the relevant factors decided, the following fee refund policy from the academic session 2024-25:
  • Not with standing anything contained in any guidelines/ prospectus/ notification/schedule, a full refund of fees shall be made by the HEls on account of all cancellations of admissions/migrations of students and with a deductionof not more than Rs.1000.00 as a processing fee.
  • It shall apply to all higher education institutions, whether established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act, and every institution recognized by the UGC Act-1956 and to all institutions deemed to be a University declared as such under Section-3 therein and to all higher education institutions affiliated to a University.
  • These guidelines would also be applicable to organizations, consortiums, committees, associations, etc., constituted for the purpose of conducting counseling or processing admissions and collecting fees on behalf of participating HEIs, and the HEI concerned will be responsible for refund fees.
  • For any admission schedule extending/commencing beyond/after 31 October 2024, the provisions contained in the UGC Notification issued in October 2018 on Refund of Fees and Non-Retention of Original Certificates shall apply (reproduced below for ready reference)
  • 3 This policy will remain in force for subsequent academic sessions until the issuance of a revised policy by the UGC.

  • 4. UGC has notified the Redressal of Grievances of Students Regulations-2023, wherein “delay in, or denial of, the refund of fees due to a student who withdraws admission within the time mentioned in the prospectus, will be taken as of the grievances.
  • 5. The Institutions ensures compliance with the fee refund policy from the academic session 2024-25 and redress any grievance by the provisions of the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations-2023.
  • 6. Any HEI violating the provisions of UGC Fee Refund Policy 2024-25 shall be liable for punitive action as notified in Clause-5 of the UGC Notification on Refund of Fees and Non-Retention of Original Certificates issued in October 2018.
